where has the time gone?

today my sweet sydney bean turns 6.  i have been reflecting on what life has been like these past six years.  i can vividly remember each moment of this day when she was born.  sydney was born 8 days late, but when she was ready to come there was no slowing her down.  she has been a lightning bolt from the beginning.  from only taking two naps a day at birth (1 hour max) to learning to walk at nine months.  from talking non stop from one on, to being busy busy busy running around and playing pretend.  she is so active, sweet, thoughtful, busy, funny, imaginative, loving, helpful, and a million other things.  she is a great big sister to her littles, and a great daughter and helper to nick and me.  we love her so much and can't imagine what our lives would be like without her sweetness in our home.  we love you to the moon syd.  thanks for blessing our lives daily, and loving us no matter what.
