The first week
Well we have been here a week, it's been so warm, and a lot of fun so far. Some new things have occurred since my last post. Sydney has learned a few new words, like, yellow, hello, please, thank you, I love you, and so on. She likes to walk around the house holding the phone and pretend that she is talking on it. It is the most hilarious thing I've seen in a while. She is learning to throw some major fits, and it is quite a difficult thinf for me to handle because I don't quite know how to discipline her yet. Time out doesn't work, because she thinks it's play time. She is finally sleeping through the night in her own bed, which if you have spent the last three months with us you know that is a huge accomplishment. I got a job teaching dance two nights a week, and I am super excited about it. It's a local dance studio that consists of over 900 dancers. I know I couldn't believe it when I founds that out. It's huge!!! Anyway, I start Wednesday and I think it will be a good thing for me. Nick took a test Friday, has another one this coming Friday and has another one the next Friday. He is hitting the books and trying to study hard, but with a family like ours that gets really difficult at times. He's been really cranky, but I think that is to be expected. He also isn't use to having us around since he has been alone for three months. I think it will take a while to get use to having us back. But believe me it's going to happen! Anyway, until next week good luck and love to you all

WE'RE HERE
Okay so my mom, Sydney and I arrived in Houston Saturday night around 7:30 after driving 26 hours in two days and through snow and rain the whole way except for the first three hours. I didn't think we were ever going to make it. But, through it all Sydney was an angel sleeping 5 hours the first day and 7 hours the second day in the car. What a blessing it was. The other time she watched movies and jabbered. I couldn't have asked for anything more. It is wonderful to have a Heavenly Father who answer prayers. It was a good trip. My mom and I alternated driving after every pit stop, which made the trip seem so much easier. I couldn't have made the trip without her and am so thankful for her. Anyway, when we got to the apartment Sydney was so excited to see her daddy and hasn't let him out of her sight yet, well without throwing a major fit. I got to work immediately to set the house up and as of now we are almost completely done. It has been tiring, but it is so fun for me to set up a house and actually have my own. I am, believe it or not actually enjoying Kingwood. We'll see how that holds up after my mom leaves and I start to miss everyone a lot. I guess if I can move to North Dakota a week after I get married I can move just as far almost three years into my marriage. I know it won't be forever and I am with my family so it will be great. Well that's the update for now. I'll keep you all posted.

Mixed up
Well here we are entering into another week. Our truck is packed and on it's way to Kingwood, Nick is in his last week in Oklahoma, I am entering my second to last week in Utah, and I'm getting pretty sad, anxious, nervous, excited, and scared. I know a lot of emotions flowing at the same time, no wonder why I'm so tired. Today at church Sydney was a challenge, and I think we are both missing Nick a lot. When you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I think often times things slow down, and become much more difficult. I don't want to leave family behind. We have become so accustomed to having our families in the same state, that it's going to be extremely hard to leave them here while we pursue our next goal in life. I want to be supportive, but that gets hard when I don't have any connection with the next place we are going, except the Fabrizio's of course and we are excited to be living near you!!! At any rate, I think it will be a good experience, but I am surely going to miss my parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, cousins, grandparents, and friends that will stay here in Utah. I love you all and am so thankful for you during these last three months. Without you I don't think I could have handled this challenge. You are loved more than you know and will be missed just as much. Thank you for your love, support and friendship since Nick has been away. Well good luck this week and know that you are loved dearly.
