Let's go fly a kite...or not!
Yesterday was a beautiful day and windy enough to fly a kite. So we went to Toys R Us and bought a couple of kites and headed to the Woodland Hills Park to fly our kites. We got a lovely rainbow kite that was a little pricey (in my eyes) and a cheap "Camp Rock" kite. We thought Sydney would have so much fun, but she was over it the minute the kite started bouncing off the ground. She would run toward Nick and then when the kite would move she would run away screaming. So, she sat on my lap the whole afternoon. Nick couldn't get his kite off the ground, but mine flew beautifully. So enjoy the pictures. We had a blast. The weather has been fabulous.

Um here you go. 16 weeks

The time has come...
Just a quick note. Nothing happened, I am doing this due to general creepiness, and the fact that I'm terrified to go outside due to gang violence. So, after that extremely long run on sentence, that is why we are going private. Okay, due to creeps on the internet and such we are going private in a few weeks. Please leave your email in my comment box if you would like to continue viewing our blog.

14 weeks
I went to the doctor yesterday for my monthly checkup, and everything is going great. I have gained two pounds, which is still really hard to hear even though I know I'm pregnant. I am having a really hard time thinking about the weight gain with this one because I was not at the weight I wanted to be when I got pregnant again. Oh well I guess that is what a major diet afterwards is for. My blood pressure is good. The heart rate was at 156. What does that mean? Am I having a boy or a girl. I set up my ultrasound to find out what we are having the last week in February. I love my doctor she is great. Now that I am not puking everyday (11 days and counting), I am going to start taking some spinning classes, and swimming because it will soon be warm enough to do that outside. I am really excited that this pregnancy I am feeling better a lot sooner than I did with Sydney. I'm still taking my nausea medication, but am down to two pills a day instead of three and four. To me, that is some major progress. We will post some pictures soon of my belly. And to all of you who saw me pregnant before, my belly button is about to pop out. It is stretching and it hurts again. The only stretch mark I got was from my popped out belly button. We'll see what happens this time. Love you all.

Finally
Okay, so I'm back from Utah and my first week of work is over, so I'm officially not so stressed out. A lot has been going on. We were home for 2 1/2 weeks, and having lots of crazy fun. We spent a week at the Staples', a week at my mom's and then my mom, Russell, Sydney and I drove 11 hours up to Lincoln Montana to see Cody, Holly and the kids. It was a lot of fun to see everyone. To say that we weren't prepared for the snow is kind of an understatement. For about a month before we went I was on a wild search for a winter coat for Sydney. Well, I could never find one, so I sent Sydney and Nick to Utah without a coat, and then I followed two days later and finally found a cute coat. Christmas was great. We spent the day at Katy and Jerry's and it was fun to watch Brooklyn and Sydney open presents from Santa. Then I got to open mine, and Nick got me my new dishes. 14 place settings. I am so in love with my dishes, and Nick too. The day after Christmas we (Sydney and I)went to Cedar, Nick was back in Houston. My family had our annual Bunco game. What a blast. It was so good to see everyone that I haven't seen for a long time. Then it was up to Montana. Oh my gosh Cambree and the boys are so adorable. Sydney and Cambree are hilarious and giggle like little school girls all day long. The twins are the most adorable creatures I have ever seen. When you hold them they just stare at you and smile. So sweet. Then it was back to Houston. It was really hard to leave, because we won't see family until after July when the baby comes. I'm still feeling gross, but not throwing up as much. I'm hoping that each week will get better. Sydney is working on getting potty trained, and that has been quite the project. She never wants to take time out of her busy schedule to take a potty break. Well here are some pictures. Sorry this is a blah blah post.
