28 weeks
I know I've posted a lot in the past three days, but I'm 28 weeks now and went to the doctor on Thursday so I thought I'd give an update. I had to have my glucose screening when I went, and it was so disgusting. Sydney kept asking, "I want some juice mommy." It doesn't taste any better the second time around. Well then I saw the doctor. Lets just say I'm really fat this pregnancy. I've gained so much weight and am so excited to get it off after this baby comes. I talked to my doctor about inducing me and she said that I'll get to go a week and half early. She said if I'm progressing earlier than that then she'll let me go earlier. So that made me pretty excited. So basically we are looking at having 10 1/2 to 11 weeks left. Yay, the light at the end of the tunnel. She said I'm measuring right on, and that I look good even though she says my weight gain is a little high. Oh well, that's the down side to pregnancy. I haven't heard anything about my glucose screeing so I'm assuming that I don't have gestational diabetes. That's good. Well you're not getting any pictures because of before mentioned weight gain, and the fact that my nose has decided to spread across my face. Oh and my face is fat. But here's the update. I know not as much fun without the picture.

What the ???
Okay so I had dance banquets all weekend. But that is another story dealing with lots of chicken and rice. I was driving home from one to rest for a minute before I had to back to another one. It was raining, not just raining but pouring the hardest I have ever seen even more so that Ike. I was driving down one of the two roads that gets you into Kingwood. That is another story though, don't even get me started on how much I hate this fact about Kingwood. Anyway, I'm babbling. I'm driving on Kingwood Dr and much of it is flooded. It's pretty high, but nothing to get me too worried yet. I get to a stop light and see a car getting towed in front of me so I call Nick and ask him what he thinks I should do, he says just see what cars in front of me are doing. So I proceed to pull through the intersection and am still dry. Well when I get to the next stop light I push on my brakes, that nearly don't grab, and then that is when it happens. Water starts coming in. There were about three inches just gathering around my feet. I start freaking out and yelling at Nick and saying how ridiculous this is and yada yada. I get home and Nick comes to the rescue. We let it sit overnight, I know gross, but it was late and still raining. So today after church Nick gets to work. He bought a shop vac last night and took that out to the car. Well twelve gallons of water later, and tearing up all the carpet and taking out the seats. He got all the water out. Now we'll see if he can get it back together after everything dries out. Here are some pictures. Let me just say there is a lot more water than it looks like. We know we'll laugh about it some day, but not today.

Love Friends
Okay so I'm sitting here in my living room, wathcing Friends, and it's the episode where Rachel is like a week late having the baby, and she is a beast. I am really feeling like her today. I know I'm only 6 months pregnant, but I've been puking today and just miserable. I have been a beast today too. My favorite line is when Ross says, "are we sure this doctor knows how to deliver a baby that is half human half monster." Being pregnant is so hard. I don't think people really know how hard it is, and even if they've had babies they still don't get it sometimes. People still can't believe that I'm still sick. I know I'm 61/2 months, but I guess my body hates me being pregnant. Well enough for my rant. I just love Friends.
Thanks for listening.

Friends
Last night, Nick being the great guy that he is, babysat Sydney's friend and Sydney so that Jenn and I could go to a dance show. Here are some cute pictures from their adventures. He took them both swimming, and the water is still cold enough that it turns lips blue. Jenn and I work together and often at the dance studio when the girls are there together we always get asked if they are twins. I think they are looking more different, but they have so much of the same personality that it's sometimes interesting to get them together to play. Nick said last night they were fighting over corndogs and ketchup. They both wanted each others. They are two peas in a pod, and so stinkin cute.
