What?!?

For those of you who don't know from facebook or that fact that we have basically told everyone we are expecting twins.  They are due January 2, 2012.  I won't make it that long, but that is their due date.  Here is the story...

We went for our 8 week ultra sound May 26.  Earlier that day I told Nick that I felt like we were going to have twins because I had been having dreams about twins and I've been a lot more sick and tired this pregnancy.  While on the way to the dr for the ultrasound, Nick told me not to be disappointed when we only had one bun in the oven.  I told him I wouldn't be.  We went in to our room got all situated and waited, and waited for the dr to come.  She came in(I love my dr by the way), got me all prepped for the ultrasound, got the picture up and sat with a look on her face.  I can't describe the look there was just a look.  I saw her roll over one baby and then roll over the other baby.  I saw them both and Nick didn't.  The doctor then says, "well there's a reason you're feeling so sick..."  I said, "there's two babies in there huh?"  She said, "Yep, you're having twins."  Nick told her that he didn't believe her and that she needed to prove it to him.  So she did and the color slowly drained from Nick's face as the realization that we are now going to be a family of six dawned on him.  I just laughed the whole appointment because I knew we were having twins.  They are going to be identical and we could be having a super high risk pregnancy, so we'll keep you updated as we learn more.  Anyway, there is our exciting news!!!  I think Nick has finally recovered from the news.
