commence heart attack

I'm back!!! And by that I mean I have taken a couple of pictures of my kids. When I say we havn't been up to anything, I'm not lying. However this weekend we went to Jesse Jones park here in Houston and had a fun little picnic and park play and trail walk. Sawyer had fun playing in the dirt and throwing rocks. Sydney had fun riding her bike (imagine the Ms. Gulch on The Wizard of Oz). I was on the look out for snakes, alligators (we were in the swamp) and bugs. Yep that's pretty much how I enjoy nature here in the bayou. Okay so I don't actually enjoy it all that much because I worry the whole time. Anyway, here's some pics.

This just reminds me a lot of Sawyer.  Refer to the picture of Sawyer on my sidebar right next to this one!!!

We brought flat stanley along.  Brooklyn sent him from Utah to play in Texas.

These two are twins.  It's kind of scary how similar they are.

It took her 20 minutes to finally be brave enough to go down this sandy hill.

Something about throwing rocks.

"CHEESE"  said with a majorly cute lisp.

"Mom, I'm ready to go swimming.  Do you like my gobbles?"

Love the new post! It looks like you had a fun time. You know I love the lisp. Gobbles must be something like Denber.

I love her gobbles! I suggest giving her a bendy straw & let her go snorkeling in the tub! Feel free to do this yourself.

Thanks to Mom I think the majority of our kids have lisps. I love that Sydney is striking a pose even decked out in her super cute gobbles.

You are all welcome for the lisps and the love of cheese and chocolate milk. Anything I can do to help the grandchildren.

I've been just as much of a blog slacker... trying to catch up, but life always seems to get busy enough to keep me away.

I loved seeing updated pictures... but we need to see you in person instead :) I know we talked about this Spring, but we should definitely make solid plans for next Spring (or earlier :) Miss you all!
