6 months and other things (picture overload)

Sawyer turned 6 months old on the first, but I have been waiting until we take him to his wcc to post this month so I could get all the stats.  He is quite a healthy little boy, with a very large head.  He weighs 16lbs 15oz, and is 25 inches long.  He is in the 50th percentile for both of those.  His head is 18 inches around, and you will see how large it is in one of the pictures I post.  Sawyer is getting really close to rolling over from back to front.  He has mastered rolling from front to back because he lifts his head up and has that flip him over.  He is getting pretty good at sitting up, but when he gets excited he'll arch him back and launch himself backward.  He loves to eat solid foods.  He eats anything I give him, but some of his favorites are carrots, bananas, and applesauce.  He is a great eater.  He is starting to get his two bottom teeth, and has started biting me, so I don't know if I'll make it a whole year of  nursing.  He loves his jumperoo.  He gets some serious air in it.  He loves to yell.  When he got his vaccines this month instead of crying he looked directly at the nurse and started yelling at her.  He yelled for a good two minutes and then he was fine.  He is such a cute, nice little man.  He brings such joy to our home, and we love him so much. 

Here is a little ditty about Sydney.  She is back in school and loves it.  She started sunbeams this last Sunday and I can't believe that she is that big already.  It makes me wonder where all the time has gone.  She got in this lovely outfit and told me she was going to the gym to work out.  I couldn't resist, because it is so Sydney.  So enjoy my little peanut being silly and totally herself.  I hope she always has this fun of a personality.  The one in the cheer costume is her new favorite thing to do.  She will mount it like she is riding two horses barefoot and boune the heck out of the jumperoo.  We'll let you know when she breaks it.  She's absolutely crazy.
