Sydney is funny

Okay so I need to do this more, but Sydney is hilarious. She says the most ridiculously funny things. Here are a few:

The other day we are watching tv before she goes to bed and a car commercial comes on, and she says, "Mom, I need a car." Okay we ask, "why?" She says, "So I can drive... with a thinking look on her face, to Nauvoo (said auvoo)."

Today she says, "mom I'm a boy." Okay "What is your name if you're a boy?" "Special cake." I seriously laughed for 10 minutes. She said this with her eyes so wide and a look like, duh why would you even ask?

Also today, "knock knock." mommy, "who's there?" Sydney, "Banana." "Banana who?" "Banana Staples." With the same look as above mentioned.

If you don't know this look you don't know Sydney very well, so all our family should be peeing their pants right now.

She was watching Dora this afternoon while I cooked dinner and on it they asked what you want to be when you grow up and I hear this, "I want to be a drum." That's all not a drummer, or a drum maker. A drum.

If you don't know two of her dolls are named Pork and Church. She named grandpa Staples bike Priest One. She says all of these things with the above look. I hope someday I will be able to capture it on camera. If you haven't heard her talk, my cousin thinks she sounds like a primordial dwarf. Nick says she sounds like Mickey Mouse.

We love our little Sydney she is a hoot. She brings so much joy into our lives and we can't imagine what we would do without her. She's so stinking cute. I hope you enjoy our Sydney isms as much as we do. She's got a lot and I hope to do better at posting them so I can remember.

Was I the one who said she sounds like a primordial dwarf? That sounds like something I would say. Sarah would say that too.

I knew it. I hope it didn't offend you. I love those little primordial dwarf voices. I am very excited to see you, your husband, the dwarf, and the munchkin.
