Where's Sydney
When I got home from work last night at 9:15, Nick and Sydney were sitting on the couch cuddling. I thought, "oh cute, and yes we get to get to bed earlier." Such was not the case. I was on the phone telling my mom about our "eviction", but that's another funny story, and Nick lays this one on me, "get off the phone I have to say sorry for something." Me being the alarmist that I am, freak out get off the phone, and say "what did you do?!?" He's like, "nothing you freak. Why do you always think that I've done something or that something bad has happened when I have to say sorry for something?" So he then proceeds to tell me that while he was otherwise occupied, Sydney got really quiet. Nick then yells, "Sydney, what are you doing?" She says, "SHH daddy I'm sleeping." So nick a few minutes later finishes what he is doing and heads out to look for quiet Sydney. He searches the whole apartment. He yells her name and this is where he finds her. Needless to say, I didn't get to bed until 12:30. Sydney's nap was from 7:30-8:30, Nick thought she was gone for the night, but she woke up saying, "I lost my mommy and I need her." So when I got home from work we had to get her back to sleep. Not an easy task, but getting easier because she has a new full size bed that I can sleep on.

Haha... what a silly girl! I cna't believe she got all tucked under those papers so perfect all by herself!
Late naps are a killer to normal bedtime, but sometimes it's unavoidable:)

Practicing to be a homeless person was my first thought too! Well, I guess she knew you were being evicted so she decided to get used to sleeping under newspapers, next stop...peeing in the pickle jar!
How cute is that! So I totally found you on Carli's blog I hope you don't mind me peeking in... It's so fun to see you all on here and particularly Sydney...Oh I miss her spunk little personality. How are you??? How is the pregnancy going. Please do tell me how things are going for you guys. That apartment eviction entry was pretty funny or not? I know what you mean about apartment living and the sad thing is that we are back into it... Although here in Switzerland 90% of people live in apartments no matter how much you make. The good thing is that our apartment is almost as big as our house in Kingwood, we are on the first floor and we have two stories and most important, the walls are concrete (with our loud kids it helps ;).
