Okay so here we are today watching the news and looking at this horrible storm that is coming our way. Nick seems to think we will be okay here in Kingwood, but I am looking at the weather blog on one of our local news stations and we are expecting 100 mph sustained winds and flooding and of course tornados that are caused from hurricanes. To top that off, Nick has to work and will most likely be spending the night at the center, so Sydney and I will be here all by ourselves literally holding down the fort. So when we lose power and that means my life line which is the computer we will have to rely on the cell phone to let you all know how we are doing. I'll get back on as soon as I can and hopefully we'll still have a house to live in. Love you all.

That is scary! I hope everything goes well for you and your house!
I grew up in alabama right where hurricane central is and its not too bad. I promise its actually nice when you know you aren't in real danger and you can open up your house and enjoy the rain and cool air. Thats refreshing but if you are in the danger zone then be careful.
Hey guys... we wanted to snd a quick note and let you know we are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers... we hope the storm isn't too crazy over there in Houston. Love and miss you! Send an update as soon as you can so we know you are safe:)
We hope that evryone is doing OK and that you find everything in one peace. You'll have to let us all know how things are going when you get a chance.
How did you weather the storm? Seems like it got pretty nasty in Houston. Hope you guys are all ok.
